Jailer 2 Box Office Collection Day 5 Updates: Rajinikanth’s latest film Jailer 2 has been shattering box office records since its release on October 15. After opening at Rs 59.7 crore in India, the film witnessed a slight dip in collections over the next two days before bouncing back on Sunday, earning Rs 55.85 crore. According to Sacnilk, Jailer 2 collected Rs 31.40 crore on Day 5 across 15,215 shows, taking its total domestic gross collection to Rs 283.75 crore and net collection to Rs 242.25 crore.

On Saturday, director Nelson took to his X handle to thank the audience amid Jailer 2’s strong box office performance. “Theatres are going bonkers! Thalaivar magic hits different. Thank you, dear audience, for the phenomenal love and reception for #Jailer2. Nothing beats seeing the audience celebrate it like this! Thank you all for the love and support,” he wrote.

Jailer 2 is backed by Sun Pictures. Besides Rajinikanth, the movie also features SJ Suryah, Vidya Balan, Mithun Chakraborty, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Mirnaa, Shivarajkumar, Mohanlal and Jackie Shroff.

Lyricist Vivek took to X to share photos from the success party of Jailer 2. He captioned it, "Celebrating the success of Jailer 2 with my dearest @anirudhofficial @Nelsondilpkumar @iam_SJSuryah and Moorthy sir. Love you team. "I love watching Rajini sir's movies, and I always look forward to his next film. So, I'm actually a day late. I try to watch as many of his movies as possible. Yesterday, we had an event in Delhi, which is why I couldn't watch it. But today, fortunately, I was lucky enough to book the entire theatre. I've invited my friends, and my wife is here too. According to trade tracker, Rajinikanth's Jailer 2, currently running across 8,508 shows, has collected Rs 22.74 crore as of 4 pm on Tuesday.

Rajinikanth's Jailer 2 continues its strong run at the box office, selling 3.08 lakh tickets on BookMyShow by 2 pm on Tuesday. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film's ticket sales were nearly 49% higher than those of Pushpa 2 and Dhurandhar 2 at the same cut-off time. With the Dussehra holiday boosting demand, Jailer 2 is now on track to challenge the all-time record for first-Tuesday ticket sales on BookMyShow.

According to trade tracker, Rajinikanth's Jailer 2, currently running across 6,060 shows, has collected Rs 13.86 crore. This brings the film's total India gross collections to Rs 300.10 crore and total India net collection to Rs 256.11 crore.

Rajinikanth's Jailer 2 has surpassed Vijay's Leo in cumulative Tamil net collections after five days. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, both films now share the record for being the fastest to cross the Rs 150 crore mark in Tamil cinema.

Trade analyst Nishit Shaw tweeted, "#jailer2 is a SUCCESSFUL venture in Hindi now. Heading towards HIT verdict. But the distribution is TOO BAD for a successful film in the Hindi belt. Even after increasing shows after a huge demand, the planing remains underwhelming. Even without PIC it should’ve been much stronger because it’s a potential HIT film. Sad to see that even the TAMIL version is neglected. Rajinikanth films generally do really well across North India with its Tamil version alone but even that isn’t being utilised."

Director Nelson Dilipkumar's Rajinikanth-led Jailer 2 is continuing its triumphant run. The actioner has already minted Rs 10.69 crore on Tuesday (October 20) across 4,814 shows, according to industry tracker Sacnilk, taking its domestic total to Rs 252.94 crore.

In a significant achievement, director Nelson Dilipkumar's Rajinikanth-led Jailer 2 has reportedly grossed over Rs 115 crore in Tamil Nadu alone in just five days. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), industry tracker Ramesh Bala wrote, "Jailer 2 has stormed past Rs 115 crore+ gross in Tamil Nadu in just five days! Thalaivar's domination at the TN box office! The blockbuster run continues!"

On Monday, director Nelson Dilipkumar's Rajinikanth-led Jailer 2 recorded an India nett collection of Rs 42.35 crore across 15,215 shows, according to industry tracker Sacnilk, marking a 24.2 per cent drop from Sunday's earnings of Rs 55.85 crore across 15,473 shows.

After passing the crucial first Monday test, director Nelson Dilipkumar's Rajinikanth-led Jailer 2 is continuing its triumphant run. The actioner has already minted Rs 2.26 crore on Tuesday (October 20), according to industry tracker Sacnilk, even though regular shows are yet to commence in various places across the country.

In the overseas market, Jailer 2 earned Rs 10 crore on its fifth day. The film's total overseas collection currently stands at Rs 194 crore, taking the film's worldwide collection to Rs 477.75 crore.

Rajinikanth-starrer Jailer 2 collected Rs 42.35 crore net in India on its fifth day in the theatres. This takes the film's total net domestic collection to Rs 242.25 crore. The film's domestic gross collection currently stands at Rs 283.75 crore.
