The episode’s promo offers a glimpse of the intense challenge, showing housemates battling to maintain their balance on a ship-like structure and avoid falling overboard.

The latest task comes a day after Monday’s nomination process, which saw Vipin, Noby, Aiswarya, Vedangi, Nowfina, Rahul Easwar, Anjali and Wikky Thug land in the danger zone. Meanwhile, Tashi had already been nominated for three weeks by host Mohanlal.

The weekly task on Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 8 is a ship-themed challenge called BB Sailors Dare, in which contestants must work together to mine gold. A maximum of six contestants, including the captain, can board the ship at a time, with the captain responsible for steering the vessel, managing its operations and assigning duties to the crew. If the captain is eliminated, another contestant must take over. The mining team must collect gold from the mine, while an alarm will warn contestants of potential dangers. Those on the ship are not allowed to eat, drink water or use the bathroom during the task. The challenge also offers contestants a chance to win an eviction-free pass, with participants required to complete additional tasks involving collecting flags and answering questions.

Neha Fathima has opened up about her reaction after losing a task to Vedangi, saying she had no issue with the defeat itself.

Neha explained that she initially reacted to the loss in a light-hearted manner. However, she admitted that it bothered her when it was made to seem as though she had lost too easily. She pointed out that Vedangi had an advantage in terms of height and weight, something Neha said she was already aware of.

According to Neha, the situation escalated only after Vedangi continued smiling at her, making remarks and taking digs at her.

Neha also stressed that not everyone reacts to situations in the same way. “Everyone cannot react like Vedangi. I am Neha, and I will react in my own way. She can react in hers,” she said.

Ahead of the day's big task, the housemates have breakfast, carry out their assigned chores and engage in casual morning conversations.

User ParticularSurround55 posted on Reddit, "According to Rahul Eashwar: If you claim that you are struggling- you cannot have any nice things. A phone? No way- You are poor, how can you have one?? He is claiming shijin is with komban so he can mooch off his money? What??? If RE is having an option to pick between bringing back a contestant or nomination- he will pick to bring back a contestant because he is “nice” and kind and will pick people over the cash money - THAT IS BECAUSE YOU ARE LITERALLY COMING FROM MONEY. Shijin will pick the nomination so he can win and make some life out of this show man. Give it a rest. You’re saying ugly things."

During Monday's nomination task, Rahul Easwar accused Shijin of playing the poverty card to gain viewers' sympathy. He also alleged that Shijin was using PR to promote such narratives outside the Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 8 house.
