The exam was conducted on May 9, 2026. As per official information, more than 150 colleges have participated in the exam. The provisional answer key was released on May 16, and the objection window was open till May 18, 2 pm. The final answer key was published on May 23 at 2 pm.

After the results are declared, the counselling process starts. The counselling process consists of registration, choice-filling, choice-locking, allotment of seats, and reporting to the allotted college.

More than 150 unaided private engineering colleges in Karnataka that are affiliated to the Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association (KUPECA) will accept applicants based on their UGET 2026 scores. A centralised counselling system with a single window will come after the COMEDK release of the test results and rank list.

The consortium clarified that COMEDK UGET 2026 ranks have been calculated using the revised final answer key released after examining objections submitted by candidates earlier this month.

Candidates securing lower numerical ranks in COMEDK UGET 2026 are likely to receive preference during seat allotment for highly sought-after branches such as Computer Science, AI, Electronics, and Information Technology.

COMEDK counselling 2026 will be conducted through a centralised online process where candidates will fill college preferences based on their ranks for engineering admissions across participating Karnataka institutions.

The COMEDK UGET 2026 scorecard includes candidate details such as application number, subject-wise scores, overall marks, rank secured, and qualifying status required for further admission procedures.

Following the release of COMEDK UGET 2026 ranks, the consortium is expected to publish the detailed counselling and document verification schedule soon on its official admission portal for engineering aspirants.

Students who appeared for COMEDK UGET 2026 should immediately download and preserve copies of their rank cards, as the document will be required during counselling registration, seat allotment, and admission reporting rounds.

COMEDK UGET 2026 results are scheduled to be announced today, May 29, at 4 PM on the official website comedk.org. Candidates will be able to download their rank cards and scorecards using their application number and password.

Candidates awaiting COMEDK UGET 2026 results can check their scores online through the official portal at comedk.org. The scorecard will include subject-wise marks, total score, and All India Rank required for counselling admissions.

Ahead of the COMEDK UGET 2026 result announcement, the consortium released the final answer key after reviewing objections raised against the provisional key. The final scores and ranks have been prepared on the basis of this revised answer key.

More than one lakh engineering aspirants who appeared for COMEDK UGET 2026 are expected to receive their scorecards today. The examination was conducted earlier this month in computer-based mode across multiple cities in India.

Candidates qualifying COMEDK UGET 2026 will become eligible for the centralised counselling process for admission to participating engineering colleges in Karnataka. The counselling schedule and document verification details will be announced separately.

The COMEDK Undergraduate Entrance Test 2026 was conducted on May 9 in CBT mode for admission to engineering courses offered by private colleges affiliated with the consortium across Karnataka.

The COMEDK UGET 2026 scorecard will carry details including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics scores, total marks out of 180, percentile, and All India Rank. These details will be used during seat allotment rounds.

COMEDK UGET 2026 scores will be used for admissions to over 150 unaided private engineering colleges in Karnataka that are affiliated with the Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association (KUPECA). COMEDK entrance test and publication of test score and rank list will be followed by a centralised counselling – single window system.

At first, the registration process takes place, and document verification happens. Once that is done, students can fill and lock their preferred college, followed by which there will be a mock allotment. After the mock allotment, the final allotment is done. During the final allotment, candidates who have got there preffered colleges should pay the fees to secure their seats.

The Karnataka Professional Colleges Foundation will release the results for the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) today at 4 pm

Candidates will get one mark for every correct answer in the 2026 paper. As per the exam pattern, no marks will be deducted for a wrong answer. However, in the event of a tie in the test score, the principle of least negative responses (number of wrong answers) will be adopted, the Consortium said. In addition, if required, other methods may be adopted to break ties, it added.
