Josey Dorsey, 10, has landed a role in writer-director Evan Coury’s The Burning Valley, according to IMDB.com. Ryan Dorsey also is listed among the cast, meaning the father-son duo could share some screen time.
Coury told Pittsburgh’s Tribune Review that the movie “is about a steelworker who loses his job when the mill announces a shutdown. It sets him on a journey as he wanders through his Rust Belt town." According to KTVB, Josey landed a role in a local theater production of Seussical Jr. in West Virginia in 2024, when he was 8. According to People, Josey and his dad moved from Los Angeles to West Virginia in 2023.

She and Ryan wed in 2014 and were married for two years before divorcing.
