According to the public notice issued by NTA on September 1, 2026, the re-examination will be conducted on September 9 and September 10, 2026 at different locations across the country.

NTA has clarified that the examination city intimation slip is not the admit card for the UGC NET June 2026 examination. It only provides advance information about the city where the candidate's examination centre will be located.

The UGC NET June 2026 admit card will be issued separately at a later date, NTA said. Candidates should therefore download the city intimation slip and check their allotted examination city, but wait for the admit card for details such as the examination centre and other instructions.

The re-examination is being conducted following an earlier NTA public notice. Candidates facing difficulty downloading or checking their city intimation slip can contact NTA at 011-40759000 or email ugcnet@nta.ac.in.

NTA has advised candidates to regularly check the official UGC NET website for further updates, including the release of the admit card.
