Norton Atlas: Know when it will come to India and its specs
Norton has chosen to load the Atlas with a 585cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine with 270° crank, producing 69bhp at 9,300rpm and 57Nm of torque at 7,500rpm.
The bike features a high strength steel trellis frame with engine as a stressed member. It gets fully adjustable KYB suspension front and rear, with hydraulic preload adjustment at the back.
As for braking, the bike gets 310mm front disc with radial caliper and 270mm rear disc.

The Norton Atlas comes with a seat height of 815mm in the GT variant while the Atlas Apex comes with a slightly higher seat height of 845mm. The Atlas Apex weighs 192kg and offers a ground clearance of 220mm. Fuel tank can hold 15.4 litres of fuel.
The brand is expected to launch the bike in India during Q2 and at the moment, dealership and service networks are being prepared. The Atlas will be manufactured at the TVS factory in India for the world. While the entry level model will be the Atlas, the second one will be the Atlas Apex. The top variant will be the Atlas GT that will feature wire spoke wheels among other features.
