Lucknow tycoon Shiva Sharma death: After Nepal trail, on the run influencer Shraddha Dubey located in Agra
Dubey has been on the run since Sharma died after falling from the fourth floor of her apartment building in Lucknow on October 9. Cops recovered sex toys and sexual enhancement drugs from the flat.
Police are currently scanning CCTV footage from toll plazas along the Lucknow-Agra route to track her movements.
The latest development comes after a series of leads took investigators across the India-Nepal border.
Her car was first found near the border, while CCTV footage later showed Shraddha and her sister, Rashmi, in Nepal. Investigating agencies had subsequently traced her to Nepal’s Dang district, but lost track of her after she and her companions were reportedly spotted in the Bhaluwang area.
According to police sources, Shraddha returned to Lucknow on Saturday night, when her location was traced to the city. However, she reportedly left after giving a statement to a news agency the following morning.
Police have not yet established her movements after she arrived in Lucknow.
Shraddha, the main accused in the businessman’s death, has submitted an application to surrender in court and has also been in touch with lawyers for legal assistance.
The process of filing an anticipatory bail application and surrendering before the Lucknow court has reportedly been completed.
Investigators suspect Shraddha is using multiple phone numbers, including Indian and Nepali SIM cards, while moving between locations to stay ahead of the police.
She has also released videos defending herself in the case and reportedly circulated a statement through a close friend’s social media account.
Meanwhile, Rae Bareli Police questioned Shraddha’s stepmother for hours at her residence. Investigators are also looking into reports that she may have received information about Shraddha’s activities before police teams reached her.- Ends
